NC will not join govt: Sitaula

URLABARI (Morang), April 6: Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that the NC joining the incumbent government was only a rumor.

Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, Sitaula clarified that the NC would not join the incumbent government in the present context, expressing dissatisfaction over the works of the government.


He also stressed the need of national unity for constitution implementation and post quake reconstruction task. The NC leader further said that the NC being the largest party would take initiatives to maintain unity among major political parties.

Sitaula said that his party would be involved for resolving Madhes agitation, implementation of the new constitution and economic prosperity of the country from the first meeting after the election of the parliamentary party leader.

Stating that problems would not be resolved through agitation, he urged the Madhesi Morcha to find an outlet through discussion and talks. RSS
