KATHMANDU, Aug 29: Nepal ‘A’ defeated Assam by 96 runs in the second practice match of ACA Senior Men’s T20 Friendly Series held in Guwahati, India. Assam, chasing a target of 174 runs set by Nepal, was all out for 77 runs in 15.2 overs.
For Nepal, Yuvraj Khatri took 4 wickets while Basir Ahmed claimed 3 wickets.

Earlier, after winning the toss, Nepal ‘A’ chose to bat and scored 173 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sandeep Jora contributed 35 runs, while Pawan Sarraf scored 31 runs.
For Assam, Akash Sen Gupta took 3 wickets. Nepal had lost the first practice match by 15 runs.
