KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The Embassy of Nepal in Beijing has urged Nepali citizens stranded in China following the severe flooding of the Bhotekoshi River to contact the embassy or the Consulate General of Nepal in Lhasa.
In a notice published on Thursday, the embassy said the Nepal-China border area has been obstructed by the flood, affecting Nepali citizens seeking to return to Nepal.
It has requested Nepali citizens affected by the border obstruction to contact the embassy or the consulate so that necessary arrangements can be made for their rescue and repatriation.
