KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has shown some signs of improvement on the second trading day of the week . Nepse has increased 15.98 points to close at 126.26 points on Monday.
A total of 1,898,305 units of shares of various 169 companies have been sold for Rs 546,021,719 today, according to the benchmark index.
Nepse marginally lower in week after last session recovery
On Sunday, the market regulator went up 8 points resulting in the transaction of shares worth Rs 302,596,000 in the share market.
With the improvement in hotels and the other groups, the Nepse index suddenly jumped high. Nepal Life Insurance Company made a transaction of Rs 112800000 at the rate of Rs 900 per unit of shares. Similarly, NIC ASIA made a transaction of Rs 33,900,000.
Sensitive Index that measures those companies categorized as ‘A’ also went up 3.07 points. On the group index side, non-life insurance group jumped 96.66 points, life insurance group went up 72.48 points while productive group jumped 93.2 points.
Investors of Unilever are the highest gainer today with the takings of Rs 1,427 per unit of share.
