New minister inducted into Oli cabinet

KATHMANDU, April 17: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday expanded his cabinet inducting Jayanta Chand of Rastriya Prajatantra Party as new minister.

Chand is eldest son of RPP Chairman Lokendra Bahadur Chand.

Press Advisor to PM Oli, Pramod Dahal told Republica Online that the newly-appointed minister has been given the portfolio of Ministry of Commerce.

He took oath of office and secrecy today itself, said Dahal.

Earlier, Minister for Labor Deepak Bohara was looking after the commerce ministry.
