KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Newly appointed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Deepak Kumar Sah, has said he would work seriously to resolve the problems surfaced in sales and distribution of cooking gas.
Assuming the office at the Ministry in Singha Durbar soon after taking the oath of office and secrecy at Shital Niwas on Thursday, Minister Sah underlined, "We will take necessary steps to ease the supply of cooking gas by holding adequate discussions with stakeholders."
NOC says cooking gas supply remains normal
He mentioned that he would move ahead by holding discussions with the outgoing Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav. Ministry forwards programmes for the improvement in supply system based on the suggestions garnered from former minister and stakeholders, according to him.
Earlier, Gauri Kumari Yadav had resigned from the post of Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies and submitted resignation letter to Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Thursday itself.
