NRB contributes Rs 13.9 million to flood relief fund

According to a press release issued by the Governor’s Office, the contribution was collected from the governor, deputy governor, and permanent and contract staff of the bank to support those affected by the flood on August 26.

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has deposited Rs 13,899,425 into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue and relief of people affected by the Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa.

The amount, collected from officials and staff of the central bank, was deposited into the fund on Monday.
