MAKWANPUR, Oct 7: One person has died in a road accident that took place in Kunchal of Thaha Municipality-1 this morning.

The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Deep Shrestha, a resident of Belkot Municipality-5 in Nuwakot. Shrestha died on the spot when a container truck (6Ka. 3987), which was going from Birgunj to Kathmandu, went out of control on the Tribhuvan highway and fell some 50 meters below the road, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Makwanpur, Lakshmi Bhandari said.
Further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
