Paudel scores hat-trick

KATHMANDU: Manish Paudel scored a hat-trick to seal a 3-0 victory for Gandhi Adarsha Higher Secondary School over Analjyoti School in the boys´ section of the Coca-Cola Inter-school Boys´ and Girls´ National Football Tournament on Tuesday.



Paudel scored in the 20th, 52nd and 62nd minutes of the match played at the Sano Gaucharan ground, Kathmandu. Meanwhile, Mahankal Janajagrit Higher Secondary School edged past Himalayan Boarding High School 3-1 in tie-breaker. The match was decided on penalties after the regulation time ended in a goalless stalemate.
