PANCHTHAR, Oct 4: Phidim Municipality has deposited Rs 4.7 million into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to assist the survivors of the recent devastating floods that struck the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river system.
According to Mitra Prasad Kafle, mayor of Phidim Municipality, the funds were collected from the elected representatives, educational staff and employees, and subsequently transferred to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

According to the mayor, the local government has expressed its profound sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by the disaster, extending its sympathies to the affected families.
