KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Prime Minister Sushila Karki visited the residence of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra (Balen) Shah on Thursday. Karki reached Gairigaun-based home to meet Balen, who is currently mourning the death of his father.
During the visit, Prime Minister Karki offered condolences on the passing of Balen’s father, Dr Ram Narayan Sah. She stayed at the residence for around 20 minutes before returning to the office.

Earlier, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, former ministers and representatives from various political parties had also visited Balen’s residence. Mayor Balen’s father passed away on December 1.
