KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has instructed the bodies concerned to carry out rescue and relief operations of Bhotekoshi flood-affected people in an effective and coordinated manner.
During the meeting of National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management recently held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, PM Shah enquired about flood hit areas, details of losses and ongoing efforts for rescue and relief, and directed the bodies concerned to effectively implement search, rescue, and relief programmes.
