KATHMANDU, Dec 28: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has summoned the first meeting of the newly-elected House of Representatives (HoR) on January 9.

According to a press statement issued by the Office of the President, Bhandari summoned the parliament session on January 9 upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. The meeting will begin at 1 pm.
The parliament session will elect the Prime Minister, President, Vice President and Speaker of the HoR.
