The DAO declared the areas the prohibited zones to be effective from 11:00 am, which will last for the next five days.
The order bans assemblies, rallies and gathering of more than five persons and even prohibits more than five persons to walk together, said Chief District Officer Bisnhu Prasad Dhakal.
The prohibitory order will remain effective at Basantapur VDC east of Bhairahawa, Mayadevi Chowk near the Gautam Buddha Airport in the west and Belahiya point in the south, according to CDO Dhakal.
The DAO imposed the order after clashes between the strike enforcers and the groups opposing the strike at various locations. RSS
