KATHMANDU, March 6: Rabi Lamichhane, chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has taken the lead in the vote count in Chitwan Constituency-2.
Lamichhane, who was trailing in the initial phase of counting, has now overtaken Asmin Ghimire, the candidate of the CPN-UML, according to the latest results.

As per the latest update, Lamichhane has secured 1,158 votes, while his closest rival Ghimire has received 908 votes. The vote margin between the two has reached 250.
Similarly, Pratap Gurung of the Nepali Communist Party is in third place with 775 votes, while Meena Kumari Kharel of the Nepali Congress is in fourth place with 539 votes.
