KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Dipayal Rajpur High Court has handed down life sentences to Resham Lal Chaudhary and Laxman Tharu convicted in Tikapur incident on Thursday.
Along with Chaudhary, seven other individuals convicted for the same incident were also handed a life imprisonment.

Earlier, Laxman Tharu was released on bail by Kailali District Court.
They were all convicted for murdering eight police personnel and a minor in Tikapur, Kailali on August 24, 2015.
Earlier, Lawmaker Chaudary had taken the case to Dipayal High Court after the Kailali District Court verdict.
