NAWALPARASI, Oct 30: The Rhino Conservation Gold Cup Men's Football Championship kicks off at Kolhuwa of Nawalparasi from today. This is the football tournament with the highest prize money outside Kathmandu valley.
The championship will take place until November 11 from today. Altogether 12 teams including the team representing the organizers will play in the tournament. All the teams except the team from the organizers' side are 'A division' teams. The Nanda Bhauju Consumers Committee is organizing the championship with the goal of rhino conservation.
The winning team will bag Rs 525 thousand 555 and the first runner-up team Rs 250 thousand 555.(RSS)
