RASUWA, Oct 12: The farmers in Amachhodingmo Rural Municipality of Rasuwa district have been afflicted with the road disruption caused by the August 26 disaster. They are worried over the lack of market for their agricultural produce after the transportation cut off following the Bhotekoshi flood.
Several bridges and roadways were damaged by the disaster, causing blockage to the village. The cabbage and potato produced by the farmers from ward no 1 and 5 are getting wilted in the farms due to not having transportation and marketing.
Considering the concern, the local youths and people's representatives are making initiatives to manage at least makeshift bridges to contribute to farmers' source of livelihood.
