CHITWAN, June 23: Voting under the first General Convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been scheduled for Wednesday. According to the party's Central Election Commission (CEC), the electoral process will begin only after the conclusion of today's closed session.
The closed session, which began at 2:00 PM today, is scheduled to conclude at 6:45 PM, according to the revised schedule.

The party has decided to adopt an e-voting system to elect its new leadership. Party representatives based overseas will also be able to participate in the voting through the party's official app. A total of 80 electronic voting machines will be used to elect one president and 99 central committee members.
Candidates' proposers and supporters will not be eligible to contest the election.
