RSP lawmaker Sudan Gurung says he won’t take salary or use govt vehicle

KATHMANDU, March 17: A newly elected lawmaker from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Sudan Gurung, has said he will not take the salary entitled to him as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR).



Speaking to journalists before attending the party’s orientation program for MPs on Tuesday, Gurung also said he would not use a government vehicle.

“I won’t take a salary, nor will I use a government vehicle,” he said. “I have my own vehicle. I am self-sufficient.”


He also said he would play an effective role in the HoR.
