KATHMANDU, Aug 27: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has opened its new branch office on Bhatbhateni Supermarket premises in Bouddha. SCBNL CEO Joseph Silvanus inaugurated the new branch office amid a ceremony held on Thursday.
Issuing a press release, the bank said that it aspires to play a key role in meeting the banking need of the population residing in and around the area of Bouddha.

"The branch office is equipped to provide a wide range of retail products available at Standard Chartered," reads the release.
Ammar Hussain, executive director of Client Relationship, Retail Clients of SCBNL, said: "The branch, conceptualized as a 'boutique branch', has been designed and staffed to showcase our efficient, professional client experience. This will enable us to establish us as the digital main bank, an agenda which we are pursuing aggressively."
