School for the deaf

BAGLUNG, March 1: Construction work has started in Baglung to build the first well-equipped school for the deaf in Dhaulagiri zone.



The Dhaulagiri Deaf Primary School is being constructed in Bangechaur of Baglung Municipality 1.



Construction of the 24-room facility will cost Rs 23.1 million.



The government of Nepal, District Development Committee, Baglung Municipality and several donors have contributed funds for the construction. The construction is expected to complete by the end of 2010.
