KATHMANDU, April 4: An internal panel formed by the Federation of Nepali Journalists to probe the arrest of Reporters’ Club chairman Rishi Dhamala has concluded that the government arrested Dhamala and two other journalists on trumped up charges. The panel headed by FNJ treasurer Ramesh Bista concluded that the government has failed to find proof of crime by Dhamala, Ram Shubhak Mahato or Birendra KM. “All the evidence presented so far shows that the state has only framed them,” said the FNJ report.
