MMC will meet either CMG Club Sankata or Yeti Airlies Himalayan Sherpa in the final on Saturday. Sankata and Sherpa will lock horns on Thursday.
MMC dominated the early stages of the match but both sides created some attractive chances as the match progressed.
MMC´s African custodian Abohide Emmanuel denied a powerful 25-yard strike from Denis Ouko. MMC´s Mbile Leonel Stephen was declared the man-of-the-match.
MMC´s team manager Kumar Bhattarai said he was satisfied with his team´s performance.
"The boys played better and achieved victory," said Bhattarai, adding that the team became stronger after the return of midfielders Nirajan Malla and Sulav Maskey to the team from the national team´s training.
Machhindra coach Raju Shakya said his side failed to score on as many as four occasions due to lack of coordination in the team. "MMC was lucky today as we failed to win despite better performance in all departments after the first half," Shakya opined.
