KATHMANDU, Oct 3: This year's monsoon has begun withdrawing from Nepal, starting with Sudurpaschim Province, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The monsoon has withdrawn from most areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, western parts of Lumbini Province and some areas of western Gandaki Province.
The MDF said weakening monsoon winds could lead to the system withdrawing from the remaining parts of the country within the next few days.
