SALYAN, April 6: The Salyan District Development Committee has recommended the Ministry of Local Development to declare three more municipalities in the district.
A board meeting of the Salyan DDC put forth the recommendation to add municipalities composing of the VDCs where main commercial centres of the district are located.

The meeting held on Monday recommended to the Ministry for declaring Sallibazaar, Chhayanchhetra and Kapurkot as municipalities, said DDC's Information Officer Purna Bahadur Oli.
It is noted that Sharada and Bagchaur of the district were already declared as municipality. RSS
