BAGLUNG, Oct 5: Three workers were buried after a mound of earth collapsed during road excavation in Bohoragaun, Nisikhola Rural Municipality 3, on Monday morning.
According to District Police Office Chief Phadindra Prasai, the incident occurred while a JCB excavator was upgrading an inner road connecting Jhibakhola and Bohoragaun.

The excavator, registration number Lu 1 Ka 3446, was being operated by local driver Bhadra Malla when the mound suddenly collapsed, burying three workers at the site.
Police identified the workers as Lal Bahadur Budhathoki, Raju Thapa Magar and Krishna Bahadur Gharti.
Gharti has been rescued in critical condition, while efforts are underway to rescue the other two workers.
