According to Area Police Office, Bardibas, the torched buses were identified as Na 5 kha 4994, Na 2 kha, 2694 and a newly brought one.A group of unidentified people torched the buses at around 10 pm pouring petrol on the buses, Mukesh Chaudhary, owner of the bus informed.
Chaudhary, originally from Aurahi VDC, was asleep at his rented room in the Bardibas when the incident took place.
The buses were parked some 300 meters' distance from the police station.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, a passenger bus and a truck were also torched at Laxminiya-5 of the district along the East-West Highway.
