The police seized the beef while it was being carried on a motorcycle towards Nepalgunj from Raniyapur. The police arrested the two acting on a tip-off.
The arrested are Islam Kureshi and Munna.
Meanwhile, police arrested two persons from Khaireni of Mahadevpuri VDC along with 94 pieces of wood.
The arrested are truck drivers Thakur Prasad from Kohalpur-4 and Om Prakash Bhattarai from Bankatawa. The police also impounded their trucks. They were handed over to District Forest Office for necessary legal action.
