DHANKUTA, Oct 15: Two people have died in a bus accident that took place in Nigale, Dhankuta, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the accident involved a bus with registration number Province 1-02-001 Kha 9606, which was en route from Biratnagar to Mahalaxmi Municipality in Dhankuta.

The deceased have been identified as Ganga Karki (55) from Mahalaxmi-7, Dhankuta and Dilli Baral (60), also from Mahalaxmi-7.
There were 30 passengers on board at the time of the accident. Six of them were injured and are currently receiving treatment at Dhankuta District Hospital, police reported.
