Two killed in motorcycle accident in Makwanpur

Two people were killed after a motorcycle plunged 50 feet off the Bungdalkhola bridge, located on the border of Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality–5 and Bhimphedi Rural Municipality–1, on Sunday morning.

MAKWANPUR, Nov 16: Two people were killed after a motorcycle plunged 50 feet off the Bungdalkhola bridge, located on the border of Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality–5 and Bhimphedi Rural Municipality–1, on Sunday morning.



According to the Makwanpur District Police Office, the motorcycle (registration number Ba Pra 03–005 Pa 7980) fell into the Bungdalkhola, resulting in the deaths of the rider, 39-year-old Bir Bahadur Gurung of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City–2, Chauki Tol, and pillion passenger 35-year-old Chandra Bahadur Gurung, originally from Kawasoti Municipality–13, East Nawalparasi, currently residing in Hetauda–2.

The bodies of both victims have been taken to Hetauda Hospital for post-mortem examination, police spokesperson DSP Pushkar Bogati said. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
