Two pilgrims go missing while bathing in Gosaikunda, army deployed for search

RASUWA, July 28: Two pilgrims went missing on Sunday while bathing at the sacred pilgrimage site Gosaikunda.

According to Chief of Rasuwa District Police Hem Bahadur Shahi, the missing individuals have been identified as Sujan Dhakal aged around 28 years old, from Biratnagar, Morang, and Manoj Neupane from Belbari, Morang. It is suspected that they may have drowned after entering a deep section of the lake to bathe.


Personnel from the Nepali Army’s Shreenath Battalion, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have already been deployed to Gosaikunda for the search operation.
