Two traffickers arrested, girls rescued

KAKADVITTA (Jhapa), Feb 12: Police have today arrested two human traffickers from Galgaliya, the border area in Jhapa district.

The arrested are Sabina Tamang, 24, of Sarlahi and Munnu Tamang, 35, of Panighatta in India, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa.


A team from the Sana Hath Haru Nepal, Bhadrapur, and District Police Office arrested the Sabina and Munnu from Galgaliya while they were trafficking Parbati Shahi, 23, and Ashika Pariyar, 25, of Dhading district to India.

Police have rescued both the girls and they have been kept at the Sana Hath Haru Nepal. Police said that trafficker are found using Bhadrapur border point after tight security at Kakadvitta, eastern border point. RSS
