'UCPN (Maoist) opting for extending CA term'

KOHALPUR (Banke), March 16: CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli has accused the Unified CPN (Maoist) of preparing for revolt by ending the process to frame new constitution.



At a public gathering organized by CPN-UML, Banke in Samjhana Chowk on Tuesday under the party´s three-month organization strengthening and people´s mobilization campaign, leader Oli said the UCPN (Maoist) is preparing for revolt by relegating the constitution making process into back burner spreading rumors about statute drafting.[break]



The UCPN (Maoist) has urged to extend up the tenure of Constituent Assembly (CA) to promulgate autocratic constitution, leader Oli further said.



He stressed the need to steer ahead constitution making process only after integrating combatants. ´The constitution will not be framed by keeping weapons; army should be integrated first´.



Chairperson of Yuba Sangh Nepal Mahesh Basnet, party central member Dev Raj Bhar, Dal Bahadur Sunar including others addressed the gathering.
