KATHMANDU, Nov 28: A new political force, the Ujyalo Nepal Party (UNP), is set to be formally announced on December 3.
The party has adopted the slogan “For a Bright Future, a Bright Nepal”, which it says reflects its commitment to political, economic and social transformation as a unified national goal, according to the UNP Spokesperson Raju Thapa.

Thapa said preparations for the announcement event are in their final stage. During the ceremony, the party will unveil its long-term vision, core objectives and its detailed 2082 manifesto.
The party’s ideological foundation aligns with the principles enshrined in Nepal’s Constitution, including competitive multiparty democracy, civil liberties, fundamental rights, human rights, adult franchise, periodic elections, press freedom, an impartial and competent judiciary, and the rule of law.
