US dollar rises, but euro, pound slide

According to today’s rates, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is Rs 138.07, and the selling rate is Rs 138.67. On Wednesday, the buying rate was Rs 137.69 and the selling rate was Rs 138.29.

KATHMANDU, June 19: The value of the US dollar rose on Thursday, while the euro and British pound sterling dropped.


According to today’s rates, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is Rs 138.07, and the selling rate is Rs 138.67. On Wednesday, the buying rate was Rs 137.69 and the selling rate was Rs 138.29.

The euro’s buying rate today stands at Rs 158.73, with the selling rate at Rs 159.42. On Wednesday, the rates were Rs 159.29 (buying) and Rs 159.99 (selling).


For the British pound sterling, the buying rate today is Rs 185.60 and the selling rate is Rs 186.41. Yesterday, the buying rate was Rs 186.75 and the selling rate was Rs 187.56.
