KATHMANDU, April 25: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the set rates, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 136.12, while the selling rate is Rs 136.72.
Similarly, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 154.97, and the selling rate is Rs 155.65. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 181.25, and the selling rate is Rs 182.05. The Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 164.86 and a selling rate of Rs 165.59.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 86.89, and the selling rate is Rs 87.28. For one Canadian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 98.21 and the selling rate is Rs 98.64. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 103.79 and a selling rate of Rs 104.25.
US dollar exchanges at Rs 140.10, euro at Rs 146.41

The central bank has set the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen at Rs 9.56 and the selling rate at Rs 9.60. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 18.67, and the selling rate is Rs 18.76. One Saudi Arabian riyal buys at Rs 36.29 and sells at Rs 36.45. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Qatari riyal are Rs 37.35 and Rs 37.51, respectively.
According to the central bank, one Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.07 and a selling rate of Rs 4.09. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.06, and the selling rate is Rs 37.22. One Malaysian ringgit buys at Rs 31.13 and sells at Rs 31.26.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.49, and the selling rate is Rs 9.53. The Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 14.19 and a selling rate of Rs 14.25. The Danish krone buys at Rs 20.76 and sells at Rs 20.85.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.54 and the selling rate at Rs 17.62. One Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 444.05 and a selling rate of Rs 446.01. The buying and selling rates for one Bahraini dinar are Rs 361.12 and Rs 362.72, respectively. The Omani Riyal buys at Rs 353.54 and sells at Rs 355.09.
The exchange rate for INR 100 is set at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these rates at any time as necessary. It also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary based on open market conditions, and updated rates are available on the central bank's official website.
