RASUWA, Oct 11: Vehicle movement in Rasuwa resumed on Sunday after the construction of a modular Acrow bridge, also known as a Bailey bridge, restored road connectivity disrupted by the Bhotekoshi River flood on August 26.
The new bridge at Betrawati provides an alternative to the bridge swept away by the flood, which had completely severed road access to the affected area of Rasuwa after the bridge over the Phalakhukhola was destroyed.

The prolonged disruption had caused hardship for local residents and travellers. The Department of Roads and local administration had prioritized bridge construction and accelerated the work.
Following sustained efforts by technical teams, the newly installed modular Acrow bridge is now ready for traffic, allowing vehicles to pass through the previously disconnected section.
