KATHMANDU, April 5: Viber has introduced local Public Chats in Nepal. Viber Public Chats is a mobile platform that allows users to follow a wide range of celebrities, influencers and brands, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.
"Chats include text, photos, audio, video, stickers, web links and more. The most popular chats are featured on the home screen of the Public Chats section of Viber," it added.

Users can easily search to find out who is chatting, or they can access a chat directly through its customized URL.
"We are extremely excited to share that our users in Nepal can now follow their beloved celebrities on Viber Public Chats. Public Chats allow users to interact in a new way, listening to live discussions and staying up-to-date with exclusive content from the people and interests that matter to them," said Anubhav Nayyar, Regional Head of Viber, South Asia, said in the statement.
