KATHMANDU, Sept 27: The water flow at the Indrasarovar reservoir has increased following continuous rainfall.
The flow reached 1,525.15 cusecs as of 6:30 am on Sunday, according to the Makwanpur District Police Office.

Meanwhile, landslides triggered by persistent rain have blocked the Prithvi Highway in both directions near Krishna Bhir and Jyamire in Dhading.
The district administration offices of Chitwan and Dhading have issued separate notices, suspending all vehicular movement along the Prithvi Highway until further notice.
According to the authorities, vehicles heading towards Pokhara have been allowed to proceed from the Chitwan side since September 26 (Asoj 10, 2083). However, landslides at Krishna Bhir and Jyamire have disrupted traffic along the highway.
With landslides continuing amid persistent rainfall, authorities have urged travellers to check road conditions before setting out and follow instructions issued by the concerned administrations.
