Marking one month since the start of the Gen Z political movement in Nepal, the prime minister emphasized the need for everyone to embrace the spirit of the Gen Z revolution.
“Behind the sacrifices made by our youth lies a strong desire for political and economic reform,” Karki said in her message. “They seek justice, the rule of law, and an end to corruption and malpractice. We must all acknowledge and accept the revolution initiated by the younger generation.”
She also stated that past governments had been unable to address the voices and demands of the youth and urged everyone to act with awareness and acceptance.
Prime Minister Karki called on all citizens to maintain peace and prevent a spiral of violence. “We must work together to build the foundation of a new Nepal out of this tragic event. For that, national unity is essential. We should not let the sacrifices of the Gen Z martyrs go in vain,” she said.
