The 35-year-old had left home at 12:00 mid-night on Wednesday after getting a phone call for an 'emergency meeting'. The Area Police Office Gulariya said that Chaudhary's body was found murdered on Saturday in an underground canal near Godabari bridge in Kailali district.
Police said that the criminals could have murdered Chaudhary to bag money from him as he had sold his land plot for Rs 1.2 million some days ago.
Sub-Inspector of Nepal Police Basu Awasthi said that Paramananda Bhatta, owner of the mobile that was used to call Chaudhary, is arrested for investigations. RSS
