Speaking at an interaction in the capital, Yechuri said, "Drafting of new constitution within a slated time by taking the peace process to its logical conclusion is a matter of Nepalese people and leaders. For this Nepalese people and leaders are capable." [break]
He clarified that they want to see timely promulgation of the constitution and logical conclusion of the peace process without any obstruction.
Saying he was in Nepal by accepting the President and PM´s invitation, Yechuri claimed he brought no information and order from India to topple the government in Nepal.
He expressed his confidence that constitution would be drafted within the stipulated time as the political parties were discussing to narrow down their differences. He added in India too all have wished for timely constitution by establishing the lasting peace in Nepal.
Yechuri said that process of army integration and constitution writing should be taken in parallel lines as both of the issues are important.
He also said that India is ready to help manage Nepal´s transitional period.
