JANAKPUR, July 1: New Academy Sports Club Bengkhadi of Mahottari on Wednesday secured first position in a football tournament organized to promote open defecation free campaign, in Bengadabar, Dhanusha.

Bengakhadi edged past host Bengadabar Boys' Club in sudden death to win the football tournament. Bengkhadi claimed Rs 10,000, while runner-up Bengadabar received Rs 5,000.
Both the teams played goalless draw in regular time before umpires called for tie-breaker. In the penalty shoot-out both the teams scored four goals. Finally Bengkhadi won the match on sudden death.
