KAILALI, April 11: Leader of the CPN-UML, Bhim Rawal, has said that election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) would not be held by June as Chairman of the UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been changing stance.

Rawal blamed that Prachanda, who is the coordinator of the high-level political mechanism, has been creating environment for not holding election changing stance one after another as he was afraid of losing their position in the next election.[break]

Rawal, who arrived here to inaugurate the Seventh District Convention of UML, Kailali, expressed this view in a news conference organised by the Press Chautari Nepal this morning.

Stating that it was certain that the election would not be held by June, he claimed that the election would be held by mid-November at any cost.

The UML leader said that there was no alternative for all the political parties other than to participate in election as political parties have given a clear mandate to the incumbent government to hold election.

He expressed the belief that the dissenting CPN-Maoist would also participate in the election.

Rawal said that the CPN-Maoist would be dissolved for forever if it does not participate in the election.
