Three Star will take on Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club, which defeated Simrik Saraswati Club 3-0 in the first semifinal on Tuesday, in the final on Thursday.

Three Star´s Nigerian recruit Abiodun Ibrahim missed a couple of chances in the second half of the match while APF also wasted a few opportunities.

Three Star midfielder Yogesh Gurung was adjudged the man-of-the-match.

APF coach Janak Singh said his side conceded the goal early as the midfield could not perform as per expectations. He said injuries to his key players like Arjun Subba and Arbin Chaudhary was the reason behind the defeat. "However, I´m satisfied with the performance against a tough opponent," said Singh.

Three Star coach Pradeep Humagain said his side played as expected. "We played an attacking game but could not convert more chances into goals," said Humagain.

"Players are tired a bit because of continuous matches but we are here to defend the title and we´ll give everything to win it," he added.
