According to a press release issued by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), the expo will be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from August 11 to 16.

A total of 49 stalls were allocated through a lottery process. Of these, 26 stalls were assigned to four-wheeler brands, while 23 were allocated to two-wheeler and commercial vehicle brands.

Speaking at the stall allocation program, NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya said the strong participation from across the industry reflects the growing significance of the expo as a key platform for Nepal's mobility sector.

She said NAIMA aims to develop the event beyond a conventional automobile exhibition and position it as a platform to promote modern, sustainable and accessible mobility solutions in Nepal.

According to Vaidya, all stalls available in the initial phase have already been allocated, while additional requests for participation continue to arrive even after the registration deadline. She said NAIMA would explore options to accommodate more participants, giving priority to member companies wherever possible.

NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo Planning Committee Chair Gaurav Sharda said the participation of 49 brands demonstrates the industry's confidence and enthusiasm toward the event.

He expressed confidence that the exhibition would emerge as Nepal's largest and most influential mobility expo while offering visitors an experience aligned with international standards.

NAIMA Executive Director Raj Kumar Dulal said the stall allocation process was conducted in a transparent and predetermined manner. He added that preparations for the exhibition are progressing steadily in coordination with participating brands, partner organizations and other stakeholders.

The exhibition will feature major automobile brands operating in Nepal, including four-wheeler manufacturers such as BYD, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, MG, Nissan, Tata and Toyota, alongside leading two-wheeler and commercial vehicle brands.

According to the association, the expo will showcase the latest vehicles, mobility solutions, emerging technologies and industry innovations. The event will also feature new product launches and knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at bringing together consumers, businesses and industry stakeholders under one roof.
