KATHMANDU, Oct 20: An application has been submitted to the Election Commission to register a new political party named Rastriya Gen Z Party Nepal. The party’s proposed election symbol is the crossed khukuri.
According to the registration application, the party is led by Chairperson Hira Prasad Seti, also known as Kiran BK, and its preliminary central committee consists of 21 members. The party’s central office is located in Anamnagar, Kathmandu.
The office bearers include Muna BK as Vice-chairperson, Gopal Acharya as General Secretary, and Sanju Nepali, Mohammad Ayatullah Rahman, and Hom Shrestha as Secretaries.
The party has identified youth leadership, federalism, secularism, proportional inclusion, environmentalism, sexual and gender minority rights, and republicanism as its foundational pillars.
