The Ministry of Health and Population said the service enables users to view the availability of different blood types at blood transfusion centers across Nepal from a single platform.

According to the ministry, the feature has been integrated into the Nagarik app to make access to healthcare services more efficient, transparent, and technology-driven.

The ministry expects the service to help patients and their families quickly obtain critical information during emergencies, streamline blood stock management, and improve coordination of blood donation services.
