KHALANGA, March 16: A 15-year-old boy, Dhiraj Dhami, went missing while swimming in the Mahakali River on Monday.
According to Devendra Budhathoki of the Darchula District Police Office, Dhami, a resident of Byas Rural Municipality-6, was swimming near Baspark in Mahakali Municipality-5 when he disappeared.

Dhami had gone swimming with friends, two of whom were unharmed. He is a ninth-grade student at Mahendra Secondary School, Khalanga.
Police have launched a search operation to locate the missing boy.
